Vets!

heyy i just wanted to see how many people out there want to become or are vets/vet techs! i rele want to be one... i am rele serious, i already kno which college i am going to! lol i mean there are people out ther that are like *in little kid voice* "OH mommy i wanna be a vet so i can help the widdle sick animals!" but i bet ther are a few on these forums, who are like me and SERIOUSLY, like can actually "taste" being a vet

also one other thing, i am gonna start HOSA (i think that is wat its called) so i can see how its like to be a vet! OMG i cant wait! anyone out ther with HOSA exprience?

I do..I love working with animals. And i think it is a very intresting job..but it isnt right for everyone.

I'd love to work as a vet tech, if I get far enough ahead in my normal school courses, I am going to take the SAT test at the community college here and if I pass their required score for people under 18, I am going to take pre-vet animal science. I've been volunteering regularly at vet's offices for almost a year now, and I love it, so I think it would be a good job for me.

I do! I applied to Iowa State and Perdue, so we'll see if I get an acceptance letter.

I remember when I found out Duke had a steel plate in his leg, the first thing I had to do was feel it. And I LOVE watching Emergency Vets, it's a great show.

I want to be a Vet. And since we live right by Purdue then I'm all set! lol If I get fried in Vet school though (which I hope I won't) I want to become a Dog Behavorist or Trianer. And maybe breed and show and stuff.

I do i wanna be a vet nurse coz i dont want to put animals to sleep!!!
Anyway i enjoy handling the animals!!!And helping out looking after them!!I get to do that in a year coz im going to college next year to do ny nvq1/2
anyway talk to ya all later!!

Oh ive worked in a vets surgery before to do my work exsperince!!And it was great fun!!
I meet lots of doggie friends!!

yes, when i turn 16 (two more years, two more years!) i am taking a course for college creidt, and it is to be working in the vets office (so its like answering phones, and i am not sure but it might include hand them tools while in surgery, but i am unsure) and next year i am joining HOSA so that i can have more time in the rooms, with the animals! gosh i cant wait till then!

Nope...animal rescue

. Though in animal rescue I will have to deal with injuries and all that, there will be an a vet there...got my sanctuary all planned out

lol gaddy! good luck with your sanctuary!! i rele hope it works out for u!!! i have been thinking and i think that i am going to become a military vet (so i can travel! i hate being in one place for to long, unless its a farm or something! LOL) and if i become a vet for the military i think they pay for college!!! so that would be great!!! the college i am looking at is North Carolina State College of Veterinary Medicine! it is a rele good school and i hope in a couple of years they will accept me in! AHHH! i am praying! lol but yea.... rele want to be a vet as i have said before! lol

I hope no Purdue admissions people read this... I won't get accepted because I can't even spell their name correctly. Ah well, Iowa State is my first choice anyway.
