there are horrible and i cant stand to think that those poor dogs that are so called "purebred" in the pet shop window, come from such a horrible background...... and if anyone here supports puppy mills ur insane in the membrane! lol

a neighbor got a dachsend pup and they were going on and on about the "breeder" i didnt think they sounded like a very responsible breeder, not a puppy mill but it sounded like a BYB .

first of all the "breeder" was breeding four different breeds Most RESPONSIBLE breeders dedicate themselves to one breed

second they were breeding minis

There are really Miniature Dachsunds. There are Dachsunds and Miniature Dachsunds. Yes, there are some people who claim that their miniature dog is a "breed", such as "Mini Shiba Inus".....there are NO Mini Shibas. There are Mini and Toy Poodles, Mini Doxies, etc..
