Happy ThanksGiving everyone!
Crossfire, I know how you feel, I rarely get Holidays off either. Last year I was stuck working in Minnesota on Christmas. My Company put me in a hotel with no resturant and I had to eat a burrito from a gas station down the street. Nothing was open and the town was empty. I can laugh about it now but I was sure sad that day. I hope you still get to spend time with your family tonight! Barrett |

Sounds good! LOL
I had 2 ThanksGiving dinners, and today will be my 3rd (my family )Let's see, at my cousins I had mashed potatoes, turkey, stuffing, green beans (with bacon) I ate a little bit cause we were going to my boyfriends house to eat also. At my boyfriends I had mashed potatoes, stuffing, green beans (with garlic), cauliflower with cheese, corn, turkey, broccoli and thats it I think LOL For desert I had Apple Pie (homemade, mMmm) and Chocolate Pudding Pie. I could have had Pumpkin pie, but by the time I left my cousins, no one had dug into desert yet, but I'm going to make a pupkin pie today! Today we're going to have Turkey, mashed potatoes, green bean casserole, broccoli casserole, green beans cooked with a hamhock bone, stuffing, and some other stuff, but can't think of it. Deserts we are having Pumpkin pie, Pumpkin Cheesecake, and No bake Cheese Cake Yummm, and this is only for my family of 4 (possibly 5 because my boyfriend may come over after his hockey tournament).Hope you all pig'd out then past out on the couch like I did LOLOL |

LOL, Icey!
I actually didn't eat much...of the dinner, anyways. I am a vegetarian--a very strict vegetarian, meaning I eat no meat or fish at all. No samon or shrimp, no ham or turkey! So I had delicious homemade mashed potatoes, pasta salad, and about 3 slices of pumpkin pie and 1 of apple. Day after Thanksgiving we finished of the rest of the apple pie and the two other pumpkin pies! We made four pumpkin pies (we looooove pumpkin pie) and two apple pies, one of which went to an elderly couple next-door, basically to get the message across to the lady that just because we cut our lawn shorter than her's doesn't mean we're stupid jerks. :shiver: |

Haha!
Well I made 2 Impossible Pumpkin Pies (no crust - REALLY GOOD ) and 2 Pumpkin Cheesecakes... Yumm! The sides are usually better than the Turkey though IMO ![]() Haha, I started eating the pumpkin cheesecake as soon as it was out of the oven! And right now (since i didn't eat lunch at school) I'm eating a big plate of leftovers ThanksGiving left overs are always the best ![]() |
