going to the beach

I am going to the beach for a few days. A bunch of my girlfriends and and I are renting two cabins in Pacific Beach for a little getaway. There will be thirteen of us going for a girls only vacation for 3 days. Our doggies are invited so there will be 7 dogs between the two cabins. I've been looking forward to this for weeks. I'll have the digital camera ready to take lots of pics of all the doggies playing on the beach! Time for some relaxation after the hard holiday rush at work! Talk to you all soon!

I'm back from the beach. I had fun but it was a lot more stressful than I thought it would be. We knew with that many dogs in one place it would be chaotic but WOW.....that was hard work keeping all those dogs happy with each other. Bailey had a blast with the 4 other dachshunds that went. They all played and ran hard on the beach and then curled up in a big weiner pile to sleep away the afternoon. We had to keep the two big dogs seperated from the weiner-dogs and that was hard sometimes. I got lots of pics and I'll get them up soon. Boy, I am pooped! I need a vacation after my vacation!

Sorry, I missed this thread. But, I'm glad to hear you had a blast. And all those lil' weiner dogs in a pile, I hope you got pictures for us. I can't wait to see them.
