What a complete idiot - what makes her think training a smaller dog is going to be any different to training a GR

Sorry I don't know of any dog training sites - but I hope someone knows of one.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but don't GR rate among the easiest dogs to train? I know they are "puppies" for a long time, but if this person "trains" puppies, they should have no problem!!

Ugh...people irritate me.

Sadly I've seen many ads like that. All you can do is hope the poor dog is taken by a loving family and no other poor pup has to go through the same thing. I would reply in a fasion that is not rude but educational, adding some information or food for thought. With people like this, you want to be as nice as you can, even though its hard you have to try !. You can't get anywhere with them other wise. For training sites just Google "Dog Training Websites" and you should find a nice selection.

i think the bigger dogs are easier to train and the smaller dogs are harder

and aren't goldens supposed to be "quick learners"?

Yeah, quick learners. I think she just doesn't want to put the effort into it. She posted on two different forums, and she did previously ask for training help...but I don't think she tried very hard. But to prevent myself from getting very upset, I have started to train one golden before, and it wasn't exactly easy (roll over...he was big lol).
