Talking i reunited a golden retriever with it's owner today

my cousins were outside when a golden retriever came out of no where and went up to the baby (1 year old) and started licking it

it was a young puppy i knew because his teeth were still young and had the ridges that puppies hae on the teeth

it had a collar but no tags so i called my boss but she didn't pick up the phone the dog ran away but then as i was going back up the step there it was again

obiously it must have lived around the area so i got one of my leashes and started to walk it (i know i shouldn't have but i didn't want the dog to get hit by a bus because he already almost did)

then a truck pulls up and this woman who had been crying saw the dog and got out of the car she said "oh my god you found him we were looking for him for 2 hours!" and then she pulled put a whole bunch of pictures and records that that was her dog and the dog reconized her because he was crying to get to her

then she say "how much do you want?" i said "nothing i don't want money for something i do almost everyday"

so i let her take the leash with her home and then she came back and gave it to me it turns out that she only lives right around the corner from me lol

the dog was 7 months old

That was nice of you to do that for the golden retriever and the owner.
