Smile I'm so proud of Sadie

Sunday we went up to my Grandparents' house to have a family Christmas. Sadie went with us, because she couldn't stay at home for twelve hours. (She also went to church with us, and laid down at our feet the entire service without whining....such a good girl!)
Anyways, my older cousins where there and they both had a sixteen month old tot (Haden) and a twenty month old tot (Makenzie) there. Haden absolutely LOVED Sadie and kept coming over to pet her.
I wasn't too sure how she'd be with little tiny kids like that but she was WONDERFUL. They were rolling a ball back and forth in front of her, taking toys away from her (and then sticking them in their mouths! ), squeeling right by her ear, climbing over her, sticking their hands in her mouth and touching her teeth, playing with her ears...and she just sat there. She never once tried to jump on them or chew on them. She was on leash the entire time. Haden even started playing with the leash and was pulling on it a bit and she just looked at him. When she normally would get very excited when meeting new people, when we walked inside she laid down by my feet right away and just watched everyone.

She was such a good girl and I was a very proud foster mommy that day!
