I'm really Sorry I missed this thread. I've been so busy with Christmas Plays. We've had 2. Finished them up tonight. Lyndsay Girl Scout Troop is going to the rest home tomorrow to sing.

Ohhh Bailey just loves Lucy to pieces! She plays with her and follows her around and won't let her out of sight. I put Lucy in her play pen during nap time and Bailey curled up to the bars as close as possible and waited for her to wake up. I was in the laundry room when Lucy woke up and Bailey ran and got me and cried until I let Lucy out to play.

The funny thing is my cat Hooligan wants to play Mama too. When Bailey got a little too rough during play, she made Lucy cry. Hooligan stood over Lucy and licked her and hissed at Bailey! She told Bailey to settle down and not play so hard....our little pup is a baby after all!!! Hoolie rubs all over the pup and follows her around too. This is the only time I have ever seen Hooligan and Bailey on the same side and getting along so great. Usually they are running and chasing each other all over the house practically knocking over furniture.

I'll get the new pictures off the camera and post them right away!

Congratulations, Barrett! I'm so happy for you, and for Lucy! God bless you for taking her in and giving her the best home ever! She is cute as a button for sure, and it sounds like she fits right in with the family. What a reward for all your worries huh?

Well I got through my first whole day with Lucy and so far no potty mistakes on the floor. I am litter training her like I did Bailey and it's going fine. She even went into the litter box on her own twice and went potty without any coaxing from me. She and Bailey played and slept and slept and played. I know it's only the second day she has been home but so far things are going perfect. I have tried to get some good pictures of her with my digital camera but the little bugger is just too fast and busy to sit still for a good picture. It seems the only time I can get a picture of her is when she is sleeping and I only have my camera phone handy. I'll keep trying tomorrow, I am going to bed early since she cried and wailed all last night and I didn't get much sleep. Wish me luck for tonight. I put her in her crate during all naps today and she did great, I hope she got a little more used to it and will be better tonight at bed time. Here are a few more pics of her with my phone. Talk to you all tomorrow. Good night!

Her second night went much better and I got 6 hours of sleep. Tonight we will play for at least two hours before bedtime and see how it goes. She had another accident free day, at least potty training is goping smoothly. LOL
