I was looking through a catalog yesterday that has my company's products in it and saw someone elses ad with a poddle that was pink blue and green. Now I'm no poodle owner and never will be...But I was curious...whats the point?
This is not ment to offend those that do it. Just my general curiosity as to why. |

Same reason people dye their hairs odd colours....simply for looks I've never dyed my oc nor do i ever plan to but at the ranch i work at sometimes for fun we get animal safe paints and paint the horses. Usually we stick to native-style horse patterns but sometimes we have fun and do other stuff too.
Cheers! |

Yup...some things just don't have a point except that they're fun. Poodles are great dogs IMO and wonderful hunting/retrievers, beautiful swimmers, 2nd on the intelligence study I saw and beautiful. I probably wouldn't do that if I had one, but I can kind of see the fun in it as long as it's not some unhealthy chemical.

I don't own a Poodle, though I would love to get a Standard some day (such great dogs). I don't know if I'd dye my dog...LOL.

Maybe it also fulfills our fantasy of having a mythical animal at our side. I mean, who ever heard of a pink dog? Or a green one for that matter. LOL I almost dyed my chi's white coat, green on St. Patricks day once. I'm not sure my grumpy ol' man chihuahua would have seen the humour in it though. Hehehehehe!Cass. |

1- hes a boy im not sure hed appreciate being pink... 2- his hairs too long... but I guess if its safe and not gonna harm the dog I dont see a problem. |

How long is too long? The poodle I saw didn't have the normal poodle cut. It was long and fluffy. |
