Okay so there is an opening for a Kennel Operations Manager at a local humane society here in WI and I applied for the job. I'm excited about this! Unfortunately it may come down to how much it pays but I'm going to give it a shot! Fingers crossed!!!

I've been recently looking for a new line of work since my current FT job I was forced into changing titles from a service tech (LOVED) to a marketing assistant position (which REALLY not liking). Also had to take a considerable pay cut to stay with the company. So needless to say not a happy camper. Never hurts to look for a job when you have a job right??

Wish me luck! The add said that the application deadline is for January 5th. Sent it out on Saturday, pleanty of time to get there!

Someday I'll be my own boss and run a place that has doggie day care, kennel, retail store, and a vet's office all in one. Sort of a one stop shop if you will.... There's a place that may be back up for sale in about 3-5 years that I hope to attain at that time but it all takes time and lots of money!! UGH!!

This is how much I don't like my new position... I was searching the online listings when my boss wasn't there for a day.... is that bad???

It's almost like fate the way things came together this last week. Found the job, got my hair cut and my hair dresser told me about the place that may be up for sale soon.... Now all I have to do is make my dreams a reality!

I met with the owner of this kennel place that's going to be up for sale in about 3-5 years and we had a nice talk. She was telling me about how she's going to expand this year and that her buildings zoning is granfathered in to do anything she wants with the property and she's got llike 5-8 acres of land! She had the place up for sale a few years back but all the interested parties just wanted the land and didn't care about the business. So she didn't sell the place at the time cause she wanted someone to continue with the business instead of bulldozing it over. Hopefully I can keep some good ties with her and be able to buy the business from her when she's ready.

I'm so excited!!! Today was the deadline for the job applications and I got a phone call for a job interview already!!! The interview is for Thursday afternoon. Man I can't wait, it's going to be a lifetime till then!

I don't think so, Rosemary doesn't have Paris' papers yet. Though she tells me that they are in route to her house.... I suppose it doesn't say who it is yet does it???? OH and BTW I will be there for you on Sat if you need the help. I'll dress to impress!

Great, I'll look forward to seeing you on Sat. I can almost guarantee we'll need you to go in with either Spirit, Tri, Sarah or Izzy. The last three are a friend's dog and two bitches. Between the two of us we're carrying the whole entry but Kim with Tilly.

Yup Sat is Ring 5 at 9am, and we're the first ones in. If you can be there by 8:30 that would be great. Jay beat Tilly on Sun, that was nice.
