I wish more people had that kind of intelligence down here. There are so many Huskys sold in Pet Shops it makes my mind spin.
An arctic dog in one of the hottest and driest countries in the world...yeah...there's an idea!

Sorry, I went off topic, just ignore me.

Oh yeah! Add Borzoi and Wire-haired Ibizan to my list! In the non-hound group I'd have to go with a Malanois, German Wirehaired Pointer, Norfolk Terrier and Smooth Fox Terrier

Cool

Sheltie and Collie are my favorites for looks; that's what I look like myself. I did see a long haired greyhound awhile back. Never heard of them, but that's what the lady said it was. It was a beautiful dog. And Afghans are so beautiful and graceful, like watching a ballet. Perhaps our favorites have something to do with our own personalities.

Well since i dont have to be realistic I would live on a huge farm and have at least one of each - or maybe do a noahs ark thing and have two of each!

The breeds I would get are:

Brittany
Great Danes
Siberian Huskies
Chinese Crested

I would get a Rough Collie of course.

Based on looks alone...

Bichon Frise
Norwich Terrier
Norfolk Terrier
Australian Shepherd
IG

But temperament wise, I'd adopt Brandy all over again.

I don't know what that lady was smokin' but there's no such thing as a long haired greyhound. There are borzoi which have greyhound-like bodies and long hair. But no long-haired greyhounds. There are also wire-haired galgos (Spanish greyhound) but, again, they are a different breed and I would not call them "long haired"...they are wire-haired.

eta: I forgot...there are some <<and I use this term lightly>> "breeders" breeding what they call an appalachain greyhound that, they claim, comes in a smooth, rough and long haired variety. Apparently they are just breeding some kind of mixes with a greyhound/whippet appearance and gave it a "breed" name. Unbelievable.

Hmmm....looks only...that is too hard! lol

Chow Chow
Akita (I love how these dogs look. I admire them any time I can.)
English Mastiff - reverse brindle
Neo Mastiff
Dogue de Bordeaux
Boxer - reverse brindle agian. lol
Basenji
JRT or Fox Terrier (esp. the ones with short little legs! I've fallen head over heels for the excited "JRT" hop too. lol Boing...Boing....Boing...LOL)
Alasken Malamute.
A well bred Beagle (there is just something about them that screams CUTE!!!! :0) )
A well bred GSD
Dobes, Rotties, and Pitties are also very stunning.

There are just too many!
And then of course lots of mutts! You get so many unique looking dogs that are cross bred.
