Unhappy Lucky Again
Today Lucky had to get cut open to have his abcessed drained. My poor baby. He's on anti's and flush twice a day. I feel so bad for him. I asked the vet if I was doing the right thing or if there was anything else we could do. He said I was doing the right thing and that this is about all we can do for him. He had two other abcessed spots in the past year and a half that we were able to get healed. So I have hope that this one will too if that darn foriegn body would just come out UGH!!! Please keep my Lucky dog in your thoughts, thanks!

Ouch, poor Lucky! Do you know what the foriegn body is? It could possibly be a grass seed. I hope he has a quick recovery. His name seems like a bit of a contradiction right now!

Yeah the vet said it could be a grass seed...who knows...
Trust me his name still suits him concidering how he looked when I found him. He's lucky I'm wanting to and do take care of him cause his previous owners didn't do a darn thing...not even feed him. So he's lucky I stole him....eh I mean found him.......yeah thats it I found him....

He's so lucky to have you Jamila. It warms my hear to know he's being cared for by you and I wish him the best of luck with the abcess, I know he's had such a hard time with them. It must be awful for him.

You and your boys sure have been going thru a lot lately. I sure wish you both all the best for some peace of mind and a speedy recovery. I wish they could find what exactly it is that's causing this and get it out once and for all. Could it be possible to do a cat-scan?

We send our full sympathy and best wishes! My sister's cat is dealing with his third abcess (long story, but not the same situation as Lucky's), so we know how that awful routine goes. Yucky!

scan wont show anything...I asked about all that.

Thanks again everyone. He is doing well considering. He hates taking his pills though. I try to sneak them in a piece of hot dog and he eats the meat and spits out the pill. My goof of a dog! Oh well we get it done either way. He's been doing super well with letting me flush the area. Last time he was so sore he didnt want me near it. This time he is being very well behaved and letting me do it. I think he knows Im trying to help him.
