Ummm it is 23 degrees out side right now!

I feel cheated! It is 23 degrees outside in sunny CA. Though I have to admit it IS still sunny outside.

That is way too cold for California. You must have felt like you had moved to Alaska.

I started a thread on strange weather a while ago.

It got down to 19 degrees here last night. We turn the thermostate down to 64 at night, so the electric blanket sure felt good. The grass and roofs were all white with frost this morning which was so pretty, but the sun is warm and the frost is melting. I think I have lost a lot of nice plants over all these nights of frost.

It also got down in the teens where I live, and I live in sunny CA too!

Hahaha, I hear ya! I spend half my nights (i'm on midnights) outside on the fork truck, and I got DRENCHED last night...LOL. If this rain keeps up I'm gonna get sooooo sick. Everywhere is flooded here! We usually have a blanket of snow during the winter, and so far we had one day of snow, and only about 2 inces that melted within hours. People are starting to think I don't really live in Canada, cause none of my recent pics of the dogs have snow in them...LOL.

Don't be complaining, we've had 12 degree lows here at night, and pipes freezing and bursting all over town! Most ridiculous Winter we've had in awhile. It rarely gets above 35 during the day here right now.

Missie even went on strike and started pottying in FRONT of the dog door.

We're currently in Gallup, New Mexico, and it is freezing! The temp was 6 degrees when I got up this morning. And, it was supposed to be 28 degrees in Phoenix, Arizona. Which is very unusual....the weather is starting to freak me out. I was told that when the temp drops that low in Phoenix, it usually brings on a bad snow storm out this way....

So while all of you guys are having freakishly cold whether, I'm stuck with the semi-warm icky whether! lol We have only had mud and rain this winter...no snow. How fun is 40 degree whether with mud all around and puddles so thick you drench yourself stepping in them? We can't even walk into our backyard without boots on and when Sadie goes out to play, she turns into a Chocolate lab. It has fianally cooled down enough for snow; it is slushing out right now. I just either want the whether to warm up or to turn freak'n cold so we have snow and the ground is frozen!

Don't forget all the auto accidents since we don't know how to drive on ice

We've got the 2nd snow of the season and windchill of -14F. I hate snow/ice.

Haha Rmci! It's true! We tried to go up to our cabins in the mountains the other day to play in the snow, and were stunned that we couldn't make it because of the ice. Nevermind all the other idiots pulling trailers up there like they were gonna make it! Hahaha! Ah, Californians... a rare breed.
