Fricken DMV!!!!!! (Rant)
I went to the DMV to get a new ID, and I might as well have gone to PMS central.
 I was the very first person in line, and the teller was already in a bad mood and was somewhat rude to me. She snapped at me to remove my birth certificate from the plastic sleeve I had it in, and then she didn't want to accept my marriage certificate, because she thought it was only in Spanish. She didn't look at it close enough to see that it was also in English. I felt like telling her, in a Spanish accent, "That's descrimination Ese". :lol: I probably would have gotten kicked out of there pretty quickly for that. But, that isn't even the worst part. Now, I have to wait 2-3 weeks to get my ID in the mail, instead of getting it right away, and I need it for tomorrow. That really sucks!!!! The last time I went there, I was able to get it the same day I applied for it. But, now that it is one of the only DMV offices for Southern CO, they don't have the TIME to do it in the same day. GRRRRRRR!!!!!! |

It definately is. Can you just imagine if I had tried to let out these feelings in the DMV? LOL

I Live in a small city, I couldnt immagine aDMV in a larger city, I hate the DMV...

I sorry! I know how it is... my boyfriend went to get his permit in August, and we had to wait like 1 1/2 hours before he was next in line. And when we got up there it was a Spanish lady, and obviously new because she kept calling another lady over to help her. She also messed up on his info twice... She didn't seem to know English that well
 The DMVs around here are soo crowded. There are 2 by me, and the one that is closer is always PACKED. So the better one to go to is farther away, but you don't have to wait as long. I have my certificate for my permit, I just need my momma to take me down there... She won't let me drive with her though LOL |

I've had the ever so lovely experience of Las Vegas DMVs. Oh my. Trying doing that in the summer. LOL. The.. err.. colorful odors of the various sweating, uptight, not-so-happy people in there can get a bit on the over powering side. At least it was when I had the misfortune of going there. One time, an old boyfriend asked me if I would go to DMV and take care of I think it was renewing the plates. First I had to get the car smogged, then I had to go to DMV. I was there a big part of the day, waiting waiting waiting. Yuck.
The last time I was at a Vegas DMV.. I was at a rather low point in my life. Had wound up trading one of my horses for a car that turned out to be a on it's last leg. I sat at DMV, waiting to register the darn thing.. waited for what seemed like forever.. and it turned out I was lacking some paper that I needed. Not good, not good at all. I love DMV up here in Elko though. I've been in and out a few times. Piece of cake!  I'll take this small town DMV over the ones in the larger cities any day LOL |

Well, it's 11 a.m. and my hubby just took off for the DMV to get a plate for the jeep we bought our girls to drive this winter. If you don't hear from me in the next few hours you'll know I'm on my way to bail him out! LOL
