I swear this is why cats like to weave in and out between your legs when your walking also! Bandit and Chubby seem to tag-team me! LOL But of course I'm "expected" to be a cushion for them 5 minutes later. ![]() |

I do that daily. I hate the most when I stop on a hard dog toy that hurts my foot. Or when I trip on a dog toy, which I do all the time. (I have stepped on so many cat tails, its not even funny lol, but yet I laugh)

My cat Grim (RIP) did that all the time. You'd think I would have learned to watch out for him on the stairs...but no...I'm a stupid human you see. I never think it'll happen again (and again and again and again). ![]() Cass. |

I could have saved money by just putting all of the toys in a basket. Now, I always stuff this thing with the other toys laying around the family room each night. The problem with stepping on a squeeky is that my min pin freaks and gets wriled up at the sound. Doesn't want to play with the toy -- just make it squeek. ![]() |

Yeah, in fact I just got a soggy rubber porcupine in my lap that I brushed away, then stepped on. Not to mention the very uncomfortable nylabone i stepped on this morning getting out of bed!! LOL. Our trainer said not to leave toys down for her (as a dominance issue) because she needed to know that I controlled playtime. Yeah ok. Her toys are always out for her. As are her chews. No dominance issues here. Between Keira and my son, I step on more toys in a day than i do bare floor!

Most of my dogs haven't been fond of sqeaky toys, until Tucker. He is obsessed with them. I have a laundry basket full of dog toys, kongs, nylabones, stuffies of all sizes, and squeaky toys galore. Tucker will reach in and mouth each toy til he finds a squeaky one and takes only those out. He takes ALL the squeakies out LOL
I'm very careful around all my pets, but one of my biggest fears is that my husband will get up in the night and step on someone. I sleep lightly because of it, if he gets up, I sit up and look around to make sure he's not going to step on a dog or cat. LOL |
