Talking Am I the only one?

Now I know I'm not the only one that has tons of dog toys laying around.
Today I was walking through the kitchen and I stepped on something soft. I freaked and almost fell trying to get my foot off of it as quickly as possible. I trip over toys and step on them thinking they are a cat or a dog all the time. I laugh at myself for it too Please tell me Im not the only one that has this issue...

I step on both cat & dog toys and think "OMG, I've crushed a paw!" What a relief to see it's a toy!

I cannot count how many times I have stepped on my dog's paws over the years.

LOL No you're not the only one. What is sad about me having lots of dog toys around is that Jesse never plays with toys...yet I bought them anyway. I've stopped now of course...but the first few years I bought heaps of them...just hoping he would play. I still have them out for him...'just in case'.

Cass.

Unfortunately I'm not in that category! Harley's 'too old' for toys, and I've JUST discovered that Abby is facinated by toys and they keep her entertained for hours, so I am definitely going to have to buy lots of toys for her now. She only has a tiny tennis ball and a new squeaky bone soft toy that I bought her a few weeks ago (and a ball that rolls out treats, but I have no idea where that's gone). Harley has a tennis ball but he only wants it if Abby has it.

I have done that several times. I always think i'm stepping on my dog and my heart jumps up to my throat lol. I look down and it ends up being some stuffed toy.

OMG YES!! I do it ALL THE TIME! hahaha Usually it is just a toy, but I have stepped on the cats and dogs before too. The dogs, heck, I should know better, and SHOULD be able to see them, but the cats, they purposely lay right at the top of the stairs, so when I come around the corner, "squish" *most of the time it's just a paw*...haha. Hey, I've almost fallen down the stairs because of them!

My house use to look like I was running doggie-day care till about a month ago and I was forever stepping on one of them, but now all of a sudden they have not played with one toy, and they got a lot for Christmas. Looks like I'll be giving those away too.

Hehe, been there, done that. The worst is when it's either soggy (grooooss!) or one of those Nylabones with the little raised bumps (owwwiiie!). I'm still trying to figure out how to teach Missie and Ollie to put their toys back in their bin at night, so I don't have to do it.

I step on their kibbles often, too, because Missie brings them to other rooms of the house to play with them.

I'm forever stepping on River's toys - they are ALL over the house - but I usually don't freak out that I've stepped on him because I usually manage to step right on the squeaker!!! But I have to say I think treading on the soggy pigs ears/rawhides is worse than stepping on the toys!!

Oh you know what's bad? When you have barefeet and you step on a SHARP meat bone which has been left laying around! Youch! They kill!

I used to have a basket for all the toys...I gave up. As soon as I put them up, they all take them out.

Yeah why is it that cats like to sleep in peoples walk ways. I think they do it on purpose just for the amusement of it all. LOL
