Mine must be broken, they don't seem to suck up dust? Mine also seems to deposit the hairs it has collected directly on whatever towel I am using to dry off with after a shower....

LOL Mine must be too! I look hairy if I use a towel that doesn't show the hair well... cause I don't notice it. LOL I try to avoid those hairy ones.
