I've actually read parts of some Terry Pratchett novels to Jesse, but he mostly gives me the "Good gods! Would you SHUT UP!!!" look. Same thing happens when I sing to him. No idea why though.

I think you're right. I mean, it's not like breaking/cracking glass when you try to hit a high pitched note is a bad thing.

I don't know. Missy seems to kind of like my singing (and she would be the only one on the planet). She's not at all partial to my dancing, however.

I have never read to my dogs but I will have one sided conversations with them I tell them my secrets and all about my day and frustrations. I only do it when i'm home alone if my parents caught me they would think I went nuts. lol Or maybe I really am crazy...

I talk to River all the time as well (I'd think around here you'd be considered weird if you didn't!!)- and I've even found myself doing it when he isn't even there - fortunately this is usually when I'm in the car by myself!!

That's too wierd because I was dancing tonight and thinking of adding to this thread how I dance with Missie (cheek to cheek ). See, if I don't dance WITH her, she barks at me until I stop. And trust me, she's not barking because she WANTS to dance. Glad I'm not the only one, 'cause it can't be my dancin'!

I danced yesterday for my dogs...they just looked at me like I was nuts, but I didnt expect anything less than that. I read my school text to them last night. We are currently learning about Physiological Psychology.
Fallon loves it when I sing to her. She tried to lick my face or jump in my face.....hhmmm maybe she's trying to get my to shut up LOL either way we have a fun time.
Oh yes also I have many conversations with my dogs. I really have no one else to talk to, but even if I did I would still perfer thier tete a tete's
