What's the harm? Who're you hurting? They love to hear the sound of our voices, they love being with us. Sounds like a nice little piece of "quality time" to me! I say go for it!!

Waddya mean? Who doesn't tuck them in and kiss them goodnight? Are you saying there's a problem with tucking them in and kissing them goodnight? Next I suppose you'll be telling me that my mother should ride in the front seat of the car, in Missy's space. I don't see why Missy should have to give up her space.

One of my friends actually prays with his Chi "Booh" every night. She folds her paws, too!

I don't see a thing wierd about it. Missie used to have a hard time sleeping at our cabins (I'd forgotten about this until just now!) when we'd go up there for a few nights, so I took to reading her a Dr. Suess book every night (same one! lol), and she'd knock right out!! It was the ABC book, so I think the consistent rythm combined with my voice was comforting. That or she got bored... Hahaha!

This is quite funny to me because Mazie gets quite disgruntled and grumpy when someone sits in her seat... Okay, all of the seats are hers, but she'd rather prefer to be up front with me.. hahahaha

Yup it's weird alright , but ya gotta love doing it for them anyhow LOL I read my school texts to my kids. It puts them right to sleep. I think they love to hear anything come out of my mouth. I lleave the tv on for them when I leave the house too.

River gets the TV left on as well - and I make sure I alternate the channels so he doesn't get bored watching the same thing every day!!
