valium anyone???

Well I am now convinced that whenever we become proud owners of a pet we should be given a survival kit containing a good dose of valium so we can survive the ordeal of spay/neuter.

Sophy went in this morning and the vet ( knows me well lol)
said she would ring as soon as Sophy came out of surgery, It is one hell of an hour while waiting isnt it

She said she would ring at 11am and true to her word she did.
She is now well acquainted with what is known as the tibbie scream

Sophy came to and started up like a real trooper.
As I sit here typing my little darling is laying on her dads pillow beside me lapping up all the extra attention.
Life is good my babies are home and all is well

Glad everything went well and give Sophy a hug from me!

It's funny we all know spaying/neutering happens all the time but still we always worry about our little pals! When River was neutered I remember thinking how empty the house felt without him - it just felt so wrong without him!

I totally understand your aprehension, anytime they go "under" I'm terrified.
I had a great dane puppy die on the operating table, so it scares me more than most I think.
I have to take my older girl in to be spayed in March. I've decided not to breed her. She just had a heat cycle a few weeks ago, so as soon as that 2 month mark has passed she will be spayed. I'm going to be a complete wreck, I absolutely could not stand it if anything happened to her. She's my baby, my spoiled rotten princess, the love of my life... LOL

She is laying on the bed making the most of her delicate state lol
...hand feeding finger in water so she can drink... no walkies... boy the list goes on and on and on rofl
Cas I shall have to take some pics real soon as its been ages since I have put some up of my darlings

Glad to hear Sophy's surgery went fine! And of course the princess is going to demand the attention she so deserves! And of course, her mum is going to make sure she has no stresses through her recovery!
