great country vet

I have a wonderful vet.
Today when I took Sophy in my vet had a cage with four minute kittens and when I said hey they are way to young to be away from their mum she told me that they were from a stray cat.
Apparently there are 3 un owned female cats that live at the race course and when this litter was born stray dogs could have got them so to the vets they came to be reared and homed.

SO I got to saying why the cats wernt spayed and she told me not to worry she had arranged for the groundsman to catch the wild girls and she is going to spay them for nothing.
They live on the racecourse I suppose to keep mice and rats down.
But hey how many vets do you know who would do this for nothing other than the fact that it will save some poor little kittens from a perhaps terrible death. She is a LEGEND

My MIL found a wild female cat and her kittens living in the woods at her house, so she trapped them, took the kittens to the humane society, and took the mom to the vet for spaying. The vet spayed her for free, gave her her shots, and then she took her back and let her loose. She ended up becoming quite tame over time and ended up in the house..... There are some great vets out there if you look hard enough.

That is amazing. Don't you wish all doctors were that way?
