What are the pups getting for Christmas? :)

Missie's getting a stuffie bone (squeaky, too). I couldn't figure out why I bought it after she started pulling old toys out last night, and I discovered she already has two stuffie, squeaky bones, and a stuffie dog. Good going, mom! lol And she's getting Dentabones in her stocking, and an ornament from Petco (I don't normally shop there, but I was trying to find that ID capsule. They didn't have it, and the ornaments to help homeless pets were right there...). I've bought her an ornament every Christmas since I've had her, and we decorate our little tree in our bedroom with them. I told my sis by the time Missie and I move out, she'll have enough ornaments to fill our tree! lol

Ripley and Dakota are both getting new "Orbee" balls. They are getting more greenies, a huge raw marrow bone for Dakota and a CET chew for Ripley, an "egg baby" toy for Ripley and a "greta scrambler" for Dakota.. Oh, and probably new beds for both of them. I have a feeling they are also getting a professional blow dryer and a grooming table. Umm.. I think that's it. They're getting more gifts than me, that's for sure.

It's difficult to get anything for my Jesse, he's old (13) and doesn't like to play so toys are out (he never touches them). Dog treats could be good, but he puts on weight so easily and that's not good for him. Hmmmmmm...... Geez, I've been wracking my brain for ages. Perhaps I'll get him one of those stuffed animal mats, you know the things babies have.. they're like a plush toy but they're flat in the middle so they're a mat you can lay babies on? He would LOVE that to stretch out on. Yeah, definately that's what he'll get. I hope they're still in the shops tomorrow. Ack! I hate xmas shopping. LOL I always end up cutting it too fine.

Cass.

So far I've only gotten my girls a 6-pack of pressed rawhides. I am thinking of getting May an orthopedic bed (she doesn't have arthritis or anything but I think she'd like one ), Colby is getting a coat, Tippy I might get a no-pull harness and they are ALL getting harnesses/seat belts. Maybe some Greenies too. Last Wensday we bought them a medium sized bag of Innova Evo to enjoy.

Hmm...

All 3 of them are getting a new doggy bed, new leashes, Sheiba is getting a new collar, Denali is getting her own harness, they're all getting new ID tags, knuckles bones, rawhides, greenies, toys, treats, possibly some sweaters or bandanas.. something cute to put on them, Sarge is definetly getting a new sweater, and that's about it for now.. LOL

I'm going to get my boyfriend's sisters dog some stuff too. They don't get him much... so I figure I'd get him a new stuffed animal/rope toy (the ones that have the rope for arms) He absolutely LOVES those things. First time I got it you said "Where's yer toy!" and he'd run upstairs, find it, and bring it back down for you to play with it. I'm going to get him a new collar. He needs one... he chewed on part of it a while back and they tried to fix it, but it's just getting too small for him and I think he could probably use a nice new collar and I'm going to get him a marrow bone, and a Head Halti. He's a bit of a puller and they use the retractable so it doesn't do much good... but if they don't use it or want to use it, I'll just take it back and get hime some other toys... Maybe get him a bandana too.... They're going to Tampa for Xmas, and are boarding Sammy, so I'll probably go over there, wrap up his gifts and leave them on his bed. Nice little pile for Sam Man!

Well they don't count as "my" dogs but I love them just the same.. I just bought a couple bags of greenies, to give to the dogs at the shelter on Christmas eve. They deserve something too.
Also some toys for my neighbor's dogs, who are left in their yard all day and bored out of their minds.

ROFL we have a joke in my family.. "If you don't know what to get Grace, get her dog something". A gift for my dog is just as good as a gift for me, so I guess in a sense some of these fun toys are for me.
