Its 70F here right now. Very nice outside. It went down to 48F lastnight, but it's supposed to warm up this weekend (with possibly more rain) and another cold front coming through. I just wish it would stay cold for a good solid week, and not this "one day cold, next 2 weeks warm, one day cold" stuff. Ugghhh... LOL

The weather outside is a round 0 degrees F. The weather has been SO cold the last few days that I can no longer go hiking.

Poor Swiftwind. How did you work? You must felt like you were in a oven?

Oh yeah, it definitely felt like an oven in there! I pretended to look like I was working, but I was actually taking my time and going very slowly with what I was doing! I just didn't have the energy to work in that heat. They got the air conditioning working again at about 3pm, and then it broke again, like 20 mins later!

LOL I'm sure for all of you experiencing the below zero weather, it sounds veeerrryy nice. HAHAHA.

Our winters are usually much colder than this, especially in January. The only thing that stinks is that when it's going to get cold, it rains. So then it's cold and wet. I'd much rather have snow! LOL I can't wait for it to get cold again. Living in Florida with constant warm weather, it's nice to have a "break". Plus, my room is the hottest room in the house (it will get up to 85 while I'm sleeping... UGH) and my window is wide open when its cold out. I love sleeping in cold weather. Snuggle time

It's been pretty cold here the last week or so, between -20 and -30 with the windchill.
Today isn't too bad, only -19 LOL Supposed to warm up to -11 by this afternoon....
I am just glad we've had such a mild winter this year. Slow to start, hasn't really settled in til this week, and woohoo it's almost Groundhog Day! LOL

Snow, snow, go away!

We like our Colorado snow -- in the mountains and the occasional snow in Denver/Boulder which goes away in 2 days. However, we've been pounded this year with snow and so much cold that the snow won't melt!

This is extremely unusual for us.

I envy you Beryl! I was wishing and wishing for snow, and after a week of flurries here and there, we finally accumilated a few inches. But it's been really mild today after a bitter cold few days, and now the snows almost all gone!

*sits staring at the sled teary eyed and wimpering*

It's finally down to normal temps here in NY! It was below 0 degrees farenheit last night... brrr, my nightly walk with Taz was not fun for me.. but he loved it of course!

At the moment, it's 32 degrees farenheit, so right at the freezing mark. Now that it's cold, we're hoping to have at least one good snow storm before winter's over, as this has been a very weak winter for where I'm from.
