Besides beautiful, friendly Chicago, this is one of the reasons Palm Beach is right up there with it:

I loved living in Palm Beach & Chicago the most because of the friendly atmospheres, not to mention,
the abundance of gracious, nicely run businesses to
patronize for anything you'd need. Crowded grocery stores
were a pleasure! For those reasons, these are the only places I've lived and worked which can top the city neighborhood I grew up in & loved.

IcyBlue, I was thisclose to going to Jupiter last Fall, near Abacoa! Family = I didn't :>)
Well that's stinky that you didn't. Abacoa has flourished soooo much. I remember when it was just a few houses and Roger Dean Stadium had a HUGE parking lot. But not anymore. They halfed it and put house there, and houses across the street, and houses across the corner... well, you get what I mean LOL

Well I'm glad everyone liked this thread. Most of you here sound like you live in some really great places. I thought it was a neat idea, so we can all share some good/bad things about the area, incase anyone wants to ever travel there

My direct town is pretty boring. There really isn't anything to *do* here, except the beach (which is the greatest might I add), go out to dinner, or go to the movies. If you want to travel a little bit, like into Palm Beach, there's so much to do. One popular area there is called "City Place". MANY people go there. Restaraunts (The Cheesecake Factory, mind you ), shops, bars, stand-up comedy, horse buggy rides (which are SO nice ). I was going to post a photo, but I couldn't find any nice pictures. The best time to go is at night, when everything is lit up.

Cass.

We don't have the new ones yet, so I don't know. My son is only 2 1/2 and my daughter is 1. I'm not sure if they'll make that big a deal out of it. Isn't the "new" guy Prof. Singalottasonga?

I play the guitar, so I learned a buch of their songs. My kids think I'm the coolest....you can draw your own conclusions LOL

No idea who the new one actually is, only that he took over from the original yellow wiggle (who left due to ill health).

LOL I'm sure you're the coolest dad on the planet Gooch.

Cass.
