Dog's fave place to be scratched?
What's your dog's favorite place to be scratched or rubbed?
Baxter loves to be scratched anywhere, even his feet. I'd say his fave is the top of his head, behind the ears, chest, and belly rubs. Rusty likes to be scratched on the head, ears, chest, but isn't that into belly rubs. |

Cragar's favorite place is on the side of his neck, behind his ears. I call it his "itchy spot", and every night after I take his collar off for bed, I tell him, "ok, let's get your itchy spots!". He'll sit in front of me and I'll scratch - usually he leans really hard into my hand and sometimes his back leg goes like he's itching himself.

Latte is like Baxter -- touch me, scratch me anywhere. Just stay in close proximity so I can lick you. And, since you are in the mood to interact, let's play fetch.
Boo likes to be scratched on the head, behind the ears, and the top of his rear legs. He can do without the belly rubs and otherwise just wants to be left to curl up and sleep. |

Harley loves to be scratched on his 'bum' (end of his back), his tummy, ears, top of head, legs, and under his chin.
Abby loves to be scratched behind her ears, on her tummy, and on her back. |

Schumi is an ear-rub man
He also likes belly rubs and chest and bum scratching.Bobbie loves attention so anything is fine with her. I've even massaged her legs and feet and she just lies on her back, legs up, so I can reach them better. She prefers long strokes much more than short pats or scratches. |

Kelso likes to be scratched on his butt or on his chest. He pretty much will settle for just about anywhere, but those are his favorite.
Sheiba likes her belly rubbed. She'll roll over onto her back and just lay there as you scratch. Denali really isn't the type who likes to sit and get pets. So I don't really know where her spot would be. She does enjoy her chest though. Ike likes to be pet anywhere. He's up for whatever ![]() |

River's favourite place is his neck - especially the areas around where his collar sits. Second would be behind those big floppy ears of his - he doesn't let me do it too often though because even though he loves it it always sends him to sleep!!

As long as Mazie is being touched, she don't care.. Though her favorite place has probably got to be the ear.. followed by the chest and belly. Every morning, she crawls up next to me, rolls on her back, and begs me to rub her belly..
