It's so cold!

Jeez! Right now it is around 10 degrees outside, but the windchill is -5! Brrrrrrrr! The dogs are inside and happily zoned out on our couch. They go out every hour long enough to pee, and then they make a beeline for the back door. It is supposed to be even colder tomorrow and I can't even imagine that!

What are the temps like where you live? Enjoying nice warm weather, or are you too freezing your butt off? lol

We have windchill warnings here... it's freezing and supposed to get worse, down to -40 with 50-60 km/hr winds...

Yesterday was a beautiful sunny, calm 68 degrees and today is supposed to be 72. Right now at almost 10:00, it warm, calm and sunny. I've already hung some clothes outside to dry, and given the dogs a bath. Plus I just got out of the shower.

Yeah, it's freezing here too.......I'm still cold even with the heat cranked. It got to -30 here last night, terrible. It's been so cold that I havn't been able to walk the dogs, which I HATE. Lots of hyper dogs here at the moment, and this weather isn't supposed to ease up anytime soon.

It's chilly here. 69F But RAINY and WINDY... BLAH. Makes me want to curl up and just sleep. It has been in the 60's the past two days. So it's been nice The dogs have been sleeping outside at night, but since it's been raining they prefer to be inside.

Totally crazy eh? Trust me, having 3 non walked Rotties in the house isn't a barrel of laughs. And not only can I not do the -30, I won't subject the dogs to those kinds of temperatures for long. Ten minutes max outside at one time. PJ and Maya rarely last that long before whining to come in. Tysa seems to handle the cold better, but not too much longer than the others.

I don't remember it ever being this cold and for this long before. It REALLY SUCKS!

It was a high of 4 degrees today. Right now the windchills are 20 below. There are absolutely no schools open tomorrow. Which is a good thing as I work at a school so I get the day off!

The high today in western wisconsin\eastern Minnesota was -5 F, to darn cold to be outside thats for sure and poor Molson can't handle it for more than 10 minutes at a time.

Bobbie has been really naughty this week due to inactivity. She's chewed my knitting needles and my house shoes and a pair of my running shoes are destroyed.

She has been gnawing on her bones, nylabones, popped a few tennis balls and has generally been going nutz.

My arm is really sore from throwing the tennis ball down the long hall for both dogs to chase (15 minutes 2 times a day). We're looking at the rest of this week being no higher than low 20's with wind chills close to or below zero. No one can stand to stay outside more than a few minutes with this horrible wind blowing.

Ugh, I know. Right now I'm thankful that we no longer have Sadie. lol It is sooooooo nice to just have two senior dogs in the house who just sleep all day and go right outside to go potty; none of that standing around for twenty minutes waiting for a dog to go to the bathroom.

It's currently 11 degrees below zero (Fahrenheit!). I think I'm going to cry. I don't want to think about the windchill.
