Countdown to my graduation

Gosh. Time flies so fast. It feels like just yesterday that I just started my senior year. Tomorrow I go for my graduation photos (cap*gown photos).

And only 13 weeks till "Senior Signout" (we get out 3 weeks earlier than the rest of the school) and 16 weeks until I WALK.

Just thought I'd share that with everyone. You can keep the countdown with me

I can't wait

I wish we got as many tickets as we wanted, or I'd invite you all to my graduation

You must be excited !! I remember my graduation, I only invited a few people(family) but it was pretty cool. I was SOO happy to finally get out of high school. Then again, I can't say I'll stay out of school tho. Still thinkin' of going back to school and getting a degree, just don't know in what yet lol.

That's wonderful! We don't have a graduation like that down here. Kinda wish we did, it would be more exciting to finish highschool (which I never did

Yay! All through my senior year I swore I'd never go back to school, I hated school, didn't want to go any further in school, etc. I graduate with my associates degree this summer...

So never say never!

Getting out of high school is a very exciting time, and I'm excited to see what you do next.

Like Cass, I wish our graduations were like they are in the US, it all seems so much more exciting. We don't even get graduation photos.

Icey do you find out your results before you officially graduate in the US? Here you find out what your scores were about a month after you "officially" leave so it's all a bit of an anticlimax really!

I know what you mean Swiftwind and Cass - the best our school could come up with for a graduation was some end of year concert - better than nothing but still wasn't the same as what they do in the US!!

I keep telling myself that I need to enjoy school while I can. As much as I'd like to just get out and work and do my own things -- I know I'll want to do school again. Heck, my boyfriend (who graduated last year) has even admitted that he wishes he were still in school.

Rivsky - As in "scores" do you mean grades? We get our final report cards in the mail. If there's something else -- I have no clue about it yet. I'm sure they'll be having a senior class meeting to tell us about everything.

Tribal - Our senior trip is planned for April 20 (they picked a great day --- NOT lol

) to go to Islands of Adventure

I'm thinking about having a beach party to celebrate my graduation (probably the following weekend). You're more than welcome to come to that if I do that!

You can bring the crew too! Hehehe

Congrats, young lady! You've reached a MAJOR milestone in your life. It was WAY back in the olden days for me (hee hee) but I remember my senior year. All requirements were done by the 1st semester and I fooled around planning for college from January to August. That was fun.

Enjoy this time. You'll be out there in the real world oh too soon.

I'm interested in your post-graduation plans.

Thanks Beryl. After graduation I'd like to enroll in the ABC dog training program. If not that, I'll probably got to a community college and figure out what I want to do. If I get into it, I'd probably do some schooling to become a Vet Tech.

I'd like to take a year off, and make some money to save up for things, and then get back into school.
