Thank you sooo much!

I used to have a friend, who gave me the starter. I kept it "alive" forever by dividing it the way you are supposed to, but alas...it finally died.

I never knew how to get the starter going on my own.

This is the best bread ever! You can put all kinds of goodies in it, too! I haven't made it since my starter "died", (may it rest in peace...), and that's been 10 years!

I use to have the starter and made my bread with cinnamon. They are excellent breads.

i've had it before with the cinnamon...and i think there were apples in it. it was really good. i'm gonna keep the recipe and hopefully use it.
