Unhappy Hiking

I got a small tree branch right in my left eye today while hiking. I am alright, just a bit sore in the eye.

Other than that it was great day hiking with my dog. She enjoy it a lot. I hiked about 5 miles today. I do a lot of hiking.

Hope your eye heals soon - it would've hurt though! Do you do all different hiking trails or stick to the same one?

Lately I have been hiking the same trial, but do all kinds of different trails in my area. The trial goes through a swamp, and is beautiful during winter.

I hope my eye becomes less sore. Thanks!

I have not posting much the past few days. You probably can figure out why. My eye was very painful yesterday. It has been getting a bit better today.

I spend anywhere from 2 to 5 hours hiking the trials in my neighborhood. The 5 mile hike took me around 3 hours.

That is so cool! Think of all the exercise you and your dog would be getting from these hikes - it's great! Sometimes I get very bored walking around my neighbourhood - seeing the same houses, streets, trees, bland parks lol I'd love to take my dogs hiking one day but I know I would have to stop every second and wait for the dogs to finish sniffing out a tree or eating grass!
