Yay Beau !!!> little update

Tonight we went for a walk. Usually Beau will bark at people while on walks. I accept the blame for him being like this, I should of found people to get him around.. But we have been working on it for the past few months.

Well tonight was a test, Beau passes by 2 people walking the other direction and he didn't make a sound .. I was so proud of my guy !! I just gave him loads of praise.. This is one step towards success of him being a good boy while on walks. He has been doing ok in the yard, but we're still climbing that hill. But all and all, tonight made me happy that the work we've been doing, is in fact working !!
I'm am now sure that by July, Beau and I will be ready for our official first dog show !

BTW, Update on his stacking and show training. Beau is doing well . His stacking is getting better and better. He is doing ok on the lead, and I found his "bait" ; a little red heart squeaker lol. He LOVES it and will stack for it(I mean he will free stack for it) . So I now only show it to him, when we practice his stacking. His breeder and I are getting very excited !!
Also, Daisy's show ring appearance will hopefully be in April. We'll be moving, but the show is at the end of the month and that may be great timing. But I'll keep every one updated if she does go !

Call me stupid, but for the life of me, I have never been able to figure out how to pronounce the name Beau. Is it like "Bo" or is it like, "Bey-u"?

Great news! Yay Beau, and Daisy too! I bet your anxious about that first show, I know I would be.

I know, and I am happy and proud ; even if it's a baby step, it's still a step in the right direction. What I know will help us more, is moving to this new location. It is closer to a big city(20mins away) and I can take Beau there every day to gain more people interaction(at petco and city parks) I know that will help out allot.

Oh, Beau is pronounced like "Bow" or "Bo" -

I am very anxious ! His breeder can't even wait to see him in the show ring lol. I am just so angry at my self for taking so long.
But she and mom reasured me that it's doesn't matter how long it takes ; just to be sure we are ready.
