OK I think I already did this question, but I am not sure, I might have answered this question, but anyways.


OK What Is Your fav dog?(big and small(under25IBS)
What is your favorite Breeds aperance?(Don't pick your fav breed)
{may be a little mean} What is your least fav breed by its aaperanc?

OK I know some of you may say I don't judge dogs like that or you should pick dog by there apperance, well this is an Opinion question, if you don'tno what a breed looks like look it up.
OK so I am doing this with good intention, lets not start a debte.

I think Chihuahuas are a little bug-eyed, Dachshunds have those little sausage bodies and I've noticed there's this really weird look you can find on Huskies...LOL! No offense to these breeds or any of their lovers, I think they're great breeds, each breed is a little weird in it's own way.

I would have to say Basset are the funniest looking, Dobies are beautiful and Shar Peis are my favorite as puppies. I like bull dogs too. I saw a beautiful big boy in a kennel at work. His name was Atikus and I fell in love with him. I let his owner come down and feed/play with him for a few minutes before we loaded him on the plane.

Big: Irish Wolfhound Medium: Bulldogs Small: Dachshund

Favorite breed's appearance: Not picking my breed of choice it would have to be the Chow Chow.

Least favorite in appearance: Puli

Fav all rounder = GSD Fav in apperance = Eurasier

Dislike = Poodles ( The person who invented the "show cut" should be made to spend the rest of their life wearing nothing more than underclothes, boots and a hat. And then see if they're so keen on half naked dogs). I wonder if other dogs think that poodles are some kind of religious cult wirdo's.

Although I don't dislike certain breeds, I often question myself if we as mankind have done the right thing producing these breeds, e.g. Bulldogs, Boxers etc which I should imagine have great cardiac and respiration difficulties.

Favorite larger breed: Border Collie
Favorite small breed: Papillon (Chihuahua in close second)

Favorite breed based on appearance: Doberman Pinscher.. I just love their ever-changing facial expressions, they can be tense and dignified one minute, relaxed and goofy the next. This is also a breed I really like, I just happen to love their appearance as well. Typically, I do prefer the appearances of long-haired dogs (Rough coated BCs, Paps, Chow Chows, etc.) but I just love the way Dobermans look.

Least favorite breed based on appearance: The Azawakh. I think I would feed one of those poor things until it popped.. Nothing about them looks healthy, even if they actually are..

Medium: Staffordshire Bull Terrier
Small: Manchester Terrier

Favorite breed's appearance: Not sure I understand the question but if I'm not picking my favourite breed it would be a short haired breed with floppy ears, large in size.

Least favorite in appearance: GSD. I know lots of people here own and love them, and there are other dogs I dislike as well, it was just the first to spring to mind. I wouldn't own a long haired dog, I don't like the face shape and (although often it isn't I know) I think the conformation of the back end looks weak.

Medium- Pittie
Small- um, prob. a Basset Hound or a Frenchie

Favorite Breeds appearance- Probably the Rottie or Akita and some GSDs.

Least Favorite in appearance- Poodle when it is in its show cut, and some Chis. (The ones that have the big alein eyes.)

first off...the poll part of this doesn’t make much sense with all the question added after it, and the fact it leaves out TONS of breeds... including mine

but here we go

Big-Great Pyrenees or Husky
Medium- Samoyed
Small- Bulldog

Favorite Breeds appearance- Afghan Hound...but Id never own one- thats too much hair to deal with

Least Favorite in appearance-Bull Terrier...the egg shaped head it a little weird to me...they are amazing dogs though

LOL. All chihuahuas are supposed to have prominent eyes. It took me a while to get used to the apple-domed heads, stocky bodies and rather short, skinny legs.. for a while they were my least favorite breed in appearance, but as I've met some nice ones, I've started to find their appearance endearing.

And about the poodles I so agree with you on that.
those butt ugly hiair cuts the continentle and lion trim are so stupid. But the reason for them are, I will tell you waht I know.

The breed was origanaly breed for like hunting in water, the breeders wanted to make a breed with a very dence coat, but then they found out that they then sunk fast. so being the coat they have they trimmed the coat the big poofy part on the upperbody to keep all the organs warm, the head hair to keep the brain warm. the pompoms on the hipps and ankles to keep the kidneys and joints warm, then the tail tuff was so the hunter could spot the dogs tail flashing.

But the only fancy one I sorta like is with a sorta big upperbody part then a slightly shorter tourso trim.

but when I groom myy dog it wil have a nice lievel trim on the whole body, a tail puff, shaved face and sorta puffy ears with a sorta tall head peice, nothing ugly!!!

My fav breed in aperance is German shepered I love their looks so much!!! Really Really pretty.

Larger breed (really a medium)- Doberman Pinscher
Smaller breed- Coton de Tulear, tied with Shi Tzu and Chinese Cresteds (hairless, not powder puff)

Appearance- Afghan Hounds, Shi Tzus (love the longer-coated breeds)
Dislike appearance- Puli, Basset Hound... there is another, I'll edit it in if my brain resumes function
