I hope this is the right forum for posting this, if not, please move it to where it should be.
Has anyone ever been to any of these types of expo's? Are they worth going to? What should I expect if I do go? Thanks in advance! ![]() www.petchicago.com |

That Pet Expo looks like a really good one!
![]() I know we don't live in the same country, but last year I went to a pet expo held in my city, and let me tell you.. it was FANTASTIC! I had loads of fun and seeing so many different dog breeds was just great. If you'd like read my thread about it you can go here (there are photos): http://www.globalpaw.com/dog-picture...eavy%29-a.html |

Pet expos are fantastic, I highly recommend them. I go to the local one here every year if I can. I, like Swiftwind, love seeing all the different breeds and I enjoy the obedience and agility demonstrations (as well as seeing people use the public agility course there...the dogs seem to love it too). The competitions we have down here are great too (just novelty comps like 'best dressed dogs', 'smallest dog', 'hairiest dog' etc.).
You'll have a lot of fun if you go, just remember to take a camera and get lots of pictures of those dogs. Cass. |

The only expo ive ever gone to was a horse one, but my sister, cousin, and mom went to an all-pet expo a year ago, ive never heard the end of it yet. My sister still keeps talking about the "cute little piggies". I really want to go to the next one, and see if i can take A.j. and maybe Simetra, too. My sister got some free stuff for me though, she brought back a whole bunch of free dog food samples (which i never used because it wasnt the brand that our dogs ate) and some dog training papers about obedience classes and stuff. I definantly say go to one if theres one going on in your area!

I love the pet expo as well - went last year and had a blast! Only bad thing is the one in Adelaide you aren't allowed to take your dogs with you
- but I make up for it by coming home with bags of toys for my little munchkin!!! This years is in a couple of weeks - I can't wait! |

I have been to two pet expo's. There was one called petapalooza and they had agility, frisbee, and flyball demos they also had tons of booths and doggie rescues had some dogs there. Maggie was part of the flyball demo. They also had a station with water hoses and kiddie pools because it was so hot outside. The other is called doggie daze and it has little booths and a flyball demo. They were both tons of fun.
