Music

What kinds of music do you like?

I like Rap, Country, Pop rock.

My favorite singers or bands are Dolly Parton, Tim McGraw, LeAnn Rimes, Britney Spears, Eminem, Madona, and Billy Gilman. I could probably think of a few more.

Rap, country, some pop, techno, rock, heavy metal. I pretty much like anything as long as it isn't VERY oldies (like grandma/great grandma music LOL), or opera.

Hmmm...my favorite music...

Well, as a singer myself, I listen to all kinds. I like anything from Metallica to Skindred, to Shania Twain, to Martina McBride, to Reba McEntire, to Pink, to Toni Braxton, to Lisa Loeb, to ANYTHING!! I do like some Opera music, mainly from Cats, Phantom of the Opera and the type. I may be only 21, but I love a VARIETY! I love Country and the new styles. What can I say, I'm a chamelion.

I don't know that I have a preference. I like individual songs rather than genres. I'm not a fan of country music (at ALL), but there is occasionally the odd song here and there that I don't mind. Same goes for that really heavy metal...I always call it 'death metal' but I don't think that's the right term. LOL

Anyway...yeah, I don't have preferences, I like songs more than artists. So if it sounds good (good beat, good lyrics, good sound) I like it. I quite like some of the "oldies" and classical piano is something I really like too.

Cass.

I like everything except rap. My favorite being alternative rock, and 80s. I love 80s music, and some 70s music.

I currently have been only listening to the new My Chemical Romance c.d, because I am going to their concert on the 14th. (this is the second time they have come here, and the second time I am seeing them!).

Random artists on my playlist, it is very much all types of music (the ones that have the song after means thats the only song of theirs I have on there):

Micheal Jackson
The Go Gos-Vacation
Cindy Lauper
Craig David-I'm walking away
Sum 41
Akon-Smack That. (lol, I don't know why I like that song, its gross)
Barry Manilow
The Beach Boys
Blondie
Bryan Adams
Christina Aguilera-Hurt
Dashboard Confessional
Disturbed
Three days Grace
GreenDay
Gym Class Heroes
Incubus
madonna
Muse
My Chemical Romance
The Used
Panic at the Disco
Papa Roach-getting away with murder
Queen (Greatest Hits, two disc)
The Plain White T's-Hate
Red Hot Chili Peppers
lol, the song Steve Carell sings at the end of 40 year old virgin (Age of Aquarius..I just think it was funny).

As you see, I listen to most genres of music!

My favourite genre of music is indie rock.. absolutely love it!

Some of my favourite bands include:
Modest Mouse
Maximo Park
Spoon
Belle & Sebastian
Franz Ferdinand
The Shins
Bloc Party
Tom Vek

I also like some electronic music from bands such as:

Air (lovely relaxing music)
The Knife

I also like lots of classical music. When I was younger (around 8) I used to sit in my grandpa's office (think old, leather desk chair, big wooden desk, bookshelves full of old leather-bound books, kind of dark), and I'd listen to classical music on the radio and look at photos for hours!

I'll listen to anything (and I mean anything) as long as it has meaning. None of this junk that talks about drugs & violence -- I get enough of listening to that by watching the evening news..

Some of my favorites are: Weird Al, Green Day, 3 Doors Down, Nickelback, Uncle Kracker, Creedence, Eagles, Led Zeppelin, Ozzy, ZZ Top, Eric Clapton, etc... The list goes on...

I'm also a huge fan of movie soundtracks - the one for Jurassic Park makes great gaming music.

Oh, and funny thing. My dad's always been going on and on about how he really hates Ozzy's music... The other day, we were on our way to town when he hears "Crazy Train" on the radio.. He turned it up and started jamming to it as we're driving down the road and he seemed to be having a great time. After the song was over, he went, "Man, that was a great song! Who does it? I have to get it later!" He thought I was full of it when I told him that it was Ozzy who did it, so he had to look it up and sure enough, Ozzy did it. Guess who has an Ozzy album now?

Ooh, great topic! Music is a huge part of my life. After dogs, of course. My brother is part of a band, i dont know their name, yet, because he just joined yesterday. He is a great guitarist and he likes to sing even though ive never really heard him sing. I think he can play drums, too.
I pretty much am always listening to music. I mainly like Rock/Punk, but i do like some Country songs. I have a LOT of bands i like, so i will just tell everyone the bands that i have on this computer (there are a lot more on the other computer).

When i put (F) after the band name it means its one of my most favorites.
These are the bands on my computer right now :

-30 Seconds To Mars (F)
-Billy Talent (F)
-Blink 182 (F)
-Boxcar Racer
-Brand New (F)
-Fall Out Boy
-Good Charlotte
-Green Day
-My Chemical Romance (F)
-Red Hot Chili Peppers (F)
-Reliant K (F)
-Simple Plan (F)
LOTS more, but i cant think of them right now. 30 Seconds To Mars are my most favorite right now.

Don't worry about her thinking you're copying her - The Shins are GREAT and you should listen to them if you want! I saw them live last year and they were fantastic. I love pretty much all of their songs. Their new album is amazing!
