Lilly (Rottweiler puppy) pics! & a question..

Hey all! I know some of you have read my threads about the rotty puppy. Well I finally got some pictures of her! There a couple really good ones of her face, but I also took a couple to show you how skinny she is She's way to skinny for her age (about 4-5 months). She doesn't seem like she's growing much either.

My question is this: She threw up while in the front yard. But what she threw up didn't look like your normal upset tummy stuff. Is it possible for a dog to throw up their "other end" stuff? Because it looked a lot like diahrrhea (sp?) [sorry! I know it sounds yucky], and smelled just like it... I mean I really don't think it was actual feces, but it didn't look normal. I have a picture of it, but I don't want to post it here, as I know some people have weak stomachs for those sorts of things. If any of you would want to see it (which I don't think anyone would LOL) just PM me.

Okay, on with the pics! Sorry for the size!

I think in this one you can see how big she is... but I have one of a top view to show how her sides go in.

This is Chris, and Lilly. This is the little boy that likes to train her.

Blah, I'm sorry everyone, but I've gotta go to the store real quick. I'll post the rest of the pics when I get back.

Puke comes from the stomach, the other stuff comes from the intestines, i've never heard of the wave actions of the intestines, moving in the other direction, plus it would have to get passed all the one way valves that prevent that "other" stuff from getting back to the stomach. its a pretty safe bet that its just puke

Is it at all possible that she ate some form of feces? A couple of weeks ago, Trish and I were at a friend's house. She was playing in their big, big, fenced backyard, and we were inside and didn't notice that she was eating deer poop--lots of it. A while later, I brought her inside and she slept for a long time. Then she woke up, and looked like she was going to throw up any second. I took her outside, and she threw up two HUGE piles of poop/vomit. It was pretty disgusting, and the next morning she let out a poop that looked like horse cr*p, but she was fine after that (and I brushed her teeth about forty times ).

Sorry I had to share that disgusting little story with you all, but I wanted to get my point across.

Well, that is one adorable puppy and such a cute little boy.

Well, that wave like motion is called paristalsis and it does go in reverse from the stomach up. (when one vomits) Stuff that has already made it to the intestines will only go out that end. LOL. She probably ate something disgusting.....don't they all?

Okay I'm back now. Sorry, had to go to the store, then eat dinner.

Thanks, I didn't think so either, but it just seems really odd. I wouldn't doubt that she may have eaten some feces, cause she's so skinny, she may feel deprived of nutrients.

Back to the pics!

This is the one I was talking about.. see how skinny she is? Do you think that counts enough for being mal nurished? I've never seen her go "potty" yet, so I haven't been able to check her poo. So I can't really tell if maybe she has a parasite of some sort.

Her and Rocky chillin out after playin..

Getting licked to death!

I love this picture of her..

And thats about it! Hope you all enjoy the pictures. She's a real sweet heart, I just don't like the condition she's in.

Sorry for so many pictures! Oh, one more I think you all might enjoy. It's from Rocky and Lilly!

We love yuh guys!

She does appear a bit thin, much thinner than one would like to see but she also appears very fine boned for her breed at least in pictures. Parasite troubles or needs to be eating a bit more from the looks of the pics.

She looks like a happy little girl and the little boy is really cute too.

Awww, oh my goodness she is adorable! Where can I pick her up?!

I know Duke eats deer poop. (But thinks dog poop is just repulsive!) I've seen the dog across the street, or court I guess I should really call it, poop and then procede to almost immediately eat it. Blech!!

What's her story? I swear I have selective vision... I see what I want and miss what I need to see. A link to a thread would be sufficient. Don't want to make you type it out again.

For a Rott she does appear very small...What is her age again? I live next door to a guy who owns a Rott and this dog looks like a small bear but she's also 11 yrs old or more too. I do know that no matter her age you shouldn't see her ribs that way.

Oh my, the poor pup. Those eyes of hers in the first picture... they remind me of the female Rott at the shelter several months ago. She was skin and bones, her name was Lexus, disgusting coat, and she was thrilled to be outside with me. I wish I would have been able to bring her home, but sadly because of a stupid choice my mom made a few years back, the application was rejected. (Although the guy was a complete jerk) I think I'll start down now, I may conveniently miss a few exams, but meh, who cares? I want to go see Lilly! (And steal her and bring her home to the big red doofus. )

That's what I was thinking Darkness, in that first picture of the second group you posted, her ribs are very visible. (Granted she is turned to the side) She's definitely skinny though.

Depending on the parasite she'd have a bloated belly too which she doesn't so my guess is more simply mal nurishment. She's cute though, and has a very happy face!

Cheers!

Maybe it's just me, but I don't think she looks too skinny. She definitely looks like a sweetheart.
