Need help..non-dog related
I have been in retail sales (commission) for around 16 yrs. 13 of which I was an interior decorator. Now I work for a large funiture related company. I am the only female in the entire region, consisting of 7 stores (whole company has 30). I am also a store manager and a Regional Trainer, which makes me the second highest ranking person in the Region besides the disrict manager.
Here's my problem. I have a few employee's that do not take direction from a Female very well. Now one of them is out to get me fired. He want's a promotion and has been passed over on several occasions, because well, he is not management material. He is sneaky, 2 faced and now has started to pit my assistant and my self agaist each other. ( he said, she said, kind of thing). He also hovers like a buzzard over a s*** wagon waitng for someone to make a mistake so he can tattle like a littlel kid. It's driving me insane. I was wondering if any of you might have soem advice on how to handle a person like this. One that is completely untrustworthy. I have had MANY discussions with my superiors about him to no avail. |

If you are his boss (not sure I read that right) are you able to write him up or document misbehaviors to make a case against him and get him fired? I'm not sure how all that works but know I've heard of writing employees up.

I have asked to have him written up. I spoke with my superior yesterday and asked to have him moved to another store. After speaking with several employees about this situation I am finding out all sorts of things about this person. He is tightening his own noose hopefully.
