Thats what i do, too. I have a cookies ready so when the dogs are finished, i pick up their bowl while feeding the cookie. Im hoping that eventually it will feel like praise to them when i simply put their food dish away.

My dog can be a picky eater, but normally she eats anything I give her. She is a purebred Collie.
