A question for Crossfire Bulldogs

Myself and a friend of mine was talking about dogs, when I commented that Bulldogs have the ability to lock their Jaws and may have to be injected with a muscle relaxent in order to release the grip. My friend said this simply isn't true, it's just a myth.

Because we don't know anyone with Bulldogs we are going to take your word as law. Can you please clarify this for us.

Hi there,

I don't think I'd go as far as taking my word as law lol but, to answer your question.....no, the Bulldog does not have a locking jaw although many tend to think they do since they were originally used for bullbaiting but it is simply their tenacity and ability to breathe well in close quarters ( short nose ) that allows them to hold on.

Their jaw strength is VERY impressive and was welll matched for the job they had.
