I was wondering which dog is the oldest on this forum?
My girl emma turned 17 last october 2004
She is the old girl in the bottom middle of my siggie

OC's kinda far from being the oldest....He's not quite 2 yet....

This is Smokey an Alaskan Malamute, he's turning 13 or 14 this year

Wow Linnie, that is old. That's a Chihuahua isn't it? They live a pretty decent life span don't they compared to a lot of dogs.

I had a beagle mix who lived to be 18 and a Lab/Beagle/something else mix was 16 I think.

Bonnie, my Lab is my oldest current dog and she's 13 and a half years old.

My two are youngsters, Ripley's 14 months old and Dakota is 6 1/2 months old.. Mom's baby, Buster, is going to be 13 in Feb.

My Shiner girl lived to be quite old. She died this past summer, after we'd known her for about 12 years. My brother had her for 2 years before that and she was estimated to be at least 2 years old at the animal shelter he got her from.. So, we guessed that she was about 16.

But the boys wouldn't give any of the senior dogs here a run for their money.. lol.

We had one that was 19 once. She died a few years ago now though. My oldest is eight just now.

That's my birthday

My GR/Chow mix lived to about 13 or 14. And the oldest I have now is Sarge, who is 6 and will be 7 in May. My baby boy is getting old fast

Okay, he's not the oldest, but my studly hunk of Dobe is (estimated to be) 10 years old.

Maybe he'll slow down some when he's 50. LOL

Emma's birthday is the 10th october.

27 is a long time for a dog I hope my girls get near that

Carrie, Emma is chihuahua x mini foxie in australia they call them tenterfield terriers but she looks more like a chi dont you think.

I think the reason she is in such good order is she has been saving herself.... she is a very laid back dog... eats, sleeps and occasionally walks the garden.

Ren How old do OC breed normally live? Smokey looks very healthy.

After reading the replys hee you can tell our dogs are sooo loved they live good long lives.
Wish all people were as good and caring. Its great to be among tue dog lovers

my Nikki dog (who has stayed with my parents in all my moving) is 15 I think...Hes a Husky mix... I got him when I was 9, from the SPCA, we think he was 4 when we adopted him.

Hes got hip problems but hes still doing good. I think their cat keeps him young.
