Belgian Malinois and Australian Shepherd

I was contacted by a friend of mine that these twohave 72 hours to find a home!! The Mal is very high driven, very ball-crazy and easily clears their 6ft fence constantly. This dog needs lots of stimulation (as does any Mal) and is only 1 year old. He would do best in a working home, the rescue is even contacting police forces offering this dog to them since he is so high-drive and responsive to commands. This boy is also still intact. There is also a 5 year old Australian Shepherd looking for a home. Her drive and work ethic is unknown as her owners have done nothing with her, but she is an absolute sweetie. If someone would like more info on either dogs please PM me!

Good luck finding those two new homes.. Are they still with their families right now? I'm assuming they'll be taken to a pound or rescue organisation if no one adopts them within 3 days?

From what I know, they are already at the pound and the 3 days (well, now two days) are what they have left before they are euthanized.

Oh, those poor puppers. Axel is absolutely stunning. So is the Aussie, but that is just too much hair for me. lol

I hope they find a home...perhaps since they are pure bred are any breed rescues willing to pull them?

I just got word from my friend that the Aussie has found a home and they were able to locate Axel's breeder who has taken him in and is going to keep him until they find an appropriate home to place him in. Thank you to everyone for your support and a special thanks to those that offered help!

I would say policeforce is a good bet, try to find some trining centers in your area, policedogtrainers, from his balldrive the Mal might be a good candidate for drugsearches!

Really look for trainers in your area! not just police forces!

It's great news that the Aussie has found a new home! Fantastic!

And good news too about locating Axel's breeder. Hopefully s/he'll be able to find a lovely home for him soon. They're both gorgeous dogs.
