Sorry its so dark, like I said, it dont do well in doors..

I just sold a G3 yesterday. Four macs here was a bit much. Down to three. LOL

I wonder how people in the old days used to make calls when they were out...ooohhh...they kept things called change in their pocket, and deposited it into "Pay Phones"...

heheh, I'm just teasing you, I'm really anti-cell phone...I'd rather carry around a couple quarters than a monthly cell phone bill.

Ack. I don't have the cord to upload a picture onto my computer. (Dakota chewed it up) but I guess I could attempt to take a picture with my cell phone.. If it doesn't work, you'll just have to wait to see my messy desk. LOL.

Eh.. Cell phones are status symbols. I like them, but I don't think many of the people who have them actually put them to good use.. They just have them for the sake of looking cool.

Most of the people here just carry them around and play games on them during school, I've never, ever seen their phones ring... In fact I was looking at someone else's phone the other day, and there were only 3 numbers stored.. huh? What's the point, then?

You'd be amazed at how often they come in handy, Quincy.

My family is a family of 5, and with three working, and all of us all over at once, they really are handy. I got mine so my parents can get ahold of me at any time, but I've found their second best purpose is when you're in the car on the way to meet someone, and need them to be able to call you or vice versa. I'd be driving hours just to find out the other person couldn't make it! And knowing I can call someone in an instant if I'm away from home and don't feel safe/ get hurt/ect. is really comforting for me. I take mine everywhere, and it helps me feel safe and comfortable (and I'm not a paranoid person about safety, either!).

I'll try to get pics of my computer desk up later. We have two seperate ones in our livingroom, so they aren't your typical work spaces.

Pugdawg- I LOVE your's! It's so cutting edge looking, and neat! I love the personalization of you guys', too. You have all kinds of fun photos and things you love surrounding you while you do whatever on the computer. I have photos to my left, but they aren't mine... lol And other than that I have no room for anything but a little duck that sits atop my screen! Who I just noticed is missing... *puts duck back in rightful position*

Meh, took a picture of my desk with my cell phone, and if you can see between the grains on the picture and past my nosey dog, you might be able to see my desk.

I think I'll get the cord for my *real* digital camera tomorrow and take a picture of it then.

Wow, everyone's had such neat desks so far. Hmm... mines not even close to being neat and I've just bought a new scanner (yes that's the packaging in the bottom right hand corner, Hehehehe! It's that new) so that has made me think about getting a new desk since everything is kinda squished on here. LOL I write, so I use my computer a lot.. which is why it's so messy. *sigh* Enough excuses... here it is, in all it's messy glory.

P.S. That scribbly picture on the notice board is a picture of my dog that my 3yr old nephew drew (he's the one in the black & white photo that I uploaded to the members gallery).

And yes, I have a troll doll and a toy dino & frog stuck to my new scanner. LOL
