Thumbs down Cotton Pick It, You People!

You are all so dang addictive, I'm not getting anything done. It's snowing mixed with rain....warmed up and it's gross. I am not into this walk thing today. So, I should be cleaning up all the dog hair, floors, dusting. My piano is gross. I have sugar cookie dough in the refer from the day before yesterday...gotta finish those X-mas cookies. I mean, this is terrible. Why do you do this to me?

What is it about dog forums, especially this one that suck us in like a propeller on a ferry boat? Just one more post....gotta read just one more. Oh, what just happened on the debate forum? Gotta see who's in a fight. LOL.

Ok...I'm breaking away now. I mean it. Right now.

I was just reading a study done about online communities and the reasons people join! Why? Because I wondered if people with "addictive" personalites tended to join. That didn't come up in the study. Whew. So we're not addicted. We're just lonely, or we like to talk with other people who share common interests, or we like to hang out with our friends here, or we're looking for information and exchange of ideas. See. No addiction. Feel better? (Isnt denial the first step to recovery?

Yup.. That was definitely my reason for joining in the first place, I wanted to chat with other dog lovers.

Hmm I think I will try something.. I'll see how long I really CAN stay away, starting... Now! (Well.. not NOW.. I gotta read one more thread first)

LOL. Kit...that's too funny!

Ok...well, I did shovel one path of snow. It was heavy and wet...gone is the lovely powder we had. And I vacuumed my tiny house, cleaned the filter in it and put it away. (filter in the vacuum, not in the house. Is that a misplaced modifier or what?) Then I thought I better let the dust settle before dusting, so while I wait....eh-hem....can't make cookies yet either. There may be left over dog hair floating around in the air. Anyone want to try my cooking? LOL. Well, those are good enough exuses arent' they?

I'm like you Rip. I can quit anytime. I wouldn't have to go through this forum like a combine going through a wheat field. Nope....not me.

Lilpaws...all ya gotta do is break away just long enough to throw the clothes in the washer and slosh a little detergent in there, slam the lid and you're done. Now all you need is someone there to swing a broom handle at you to get you off your chair....kind of like what you do if someone is being electricuted and stuck to the current.

LOL LOL LOL!!!

The only thing I got done today was take the dogs to PetsMart for some socialization and vacuum the house ( I have to do that everyday or Lucy finds every little pine needle or scrap of paper and eats it). Other than that I've been here with you guys. The saddest part is when I log off at night and it says I have been on the internet for 637 minutes....I might have a slight problem...did I remember to feed the dogs today? LOL

Hahahaha Sheltie! There's a rule in my (I mean, my parent's ) house: Don't touch Grace's computer.. It's old, practically worthless and even slower than my metabolism, but I'm possessive of it. lol.

Well I didn't stop for long, did I... Seriously though, starting tomorrow, I am going to block this site on my computer and see how long I can last without even checking in for a second. A couple of my friends have already bet that I can go about 18 hours.. I dunno if i could even do that. lol. When I have a spare moment on the computer I check in here.
