I had my first appt today!

I had my first appt today with the nurse. I'm successfully 7wks and 6days along! Yay!

I've got full fledged morning sickness and trying to cope...mmmmm crackers! The small meals through out the day seem to help too. Getting up in the morning is still a chore. I might have to keep the crackers close to the bed but out of reach of the puppers at night to help. Hopefully this doesn't last too long! Most of my friends say that by the 2nd trimester... 4wks and counting.... it will be better.

LOL!! So is traveling in a car for 12 hours going to be horrible??? I'm going to have to make stops for you and the puppers!!! LOL!

I'm glad everything is going well so far! Thank goodness we're hoteling it instead of camping! I would think that would be miserable!

Right now it's not so much the potty breaks as it is the constant small meals to tend to the extra stomach juices. Trying to get out of bed in the morning is the absolute worst! Stomach is completely empty! I'm going to try to have crackers near the bedside tonight to see if it helps..... so what snacks do you like??? LOL! I'll have to stock up!

Ooh congratulations that it's all confirmed! What exciting news! I hope you start to feel better soon, it doesn't sound very fun at all having morning sickness.

Lots of congrats! (Well, you know, not about the morning sickness exactly but...you're on your way)!

So...have you guys thought at all about names? Sorry if I'm prying, I just think baby names are so cute. My parents used to get worried when they'd see me at 14 years old with a book of baby names on my lap, lol - I told them I just wanted to plan early! (Heck, I have a 10 page Word document of future registered names for my dogs).

And geeze...the ordeal of naming my bag of flour for PE in high school (like the egg raising class). I can't imagine how much debate it must take to name a real child!

The only names so far that we can agree on are for boys. And they are Miken and Mitchell. The Girl names I like are Piper and Felicity but Wayne doesn't like either one of those. He wants a girl name that's after a softball bat of coarse and the best ones he came up with were Energy and Envy and I don't like either one of those, tooooo weird for me!

Congratulations! I'm glad things are going relatively well (yes, the morning sickness sucks, but it's only temporary, thank goodness!) I had night sickness, instead...9pm, every night for 3 months. I was working nights, though...5pm - midnight in the pharmacy. I'd run to the bathroom at 9pm, get sick, then walk next door to Wendy's. The clerk there would hand me a child size Frosty, and I'd head back to work. That always took care of the problem. They never charged me for my Frosty...the payment was I had to take my daughter in when she was born so they could see whom they were feeding! LOL

Hang in there...just a few more weeks to go! Have fun on your trip with Novel! I'm sure you'll have a blast!

Take care,
Sherilyn

Oh thats too funny! Today is going pretty well considering my last couple of days. I just have to keep remembering to eat a little bit every now and then and I think I'll do alright. ;-) I just hope it goes quick!

I'll run them by Wayne and see what he says... I can just see it now some new bat will come out this year and he'll be like "that's what her name will be" Ugh!

I was talking with my neighbor the other day and she told me that in her kids elementary classes she said that they don't have kids in either of their classes named Jenny or Jennifer or anything sorta "basic". I found that interesting.

See, I think I'm a basic sort of person... My hubby has always like Angela. My best friend in high school was Angela, so it would be weird, but... I find it neat to hear what names people liked. Michael is far and away my favorite boys name.
