The dead paper towel roll...

Well, I got home very late last night. I was at the fair all day with my boyfriend. We had an awsome time. Anyways, I walk in the door with my mom and there's paper EVERYWHERE. I was like "What in the world did you guys do?!" I walked over to the biggest pile, and found the inner part of the roll, ripped in half. They killed off the paper towel roll... poor little roll, it didn't deserve such a horrid death LOL. So, we knew that they weren't being watched. Everytime they're left alone, they get into something. My mom says "And your Dad wonders why I get angry."

It was our fault though, because obviously the roll had been left accessible to them. My dad and brother were just too lazy to watch them. My dad's really ignorant about that. Even when the girls are in heat, he won't watch them if I, or my mom aren't home to do it.

Denali used to be really bad about getting rolls of toilet paper out of the bathroom and shredding them. Just about every morning we would wake up to see a roll of toilet paper strewed across the floor, especially since when you'd go into the bathroom, there wasn't any accessible! She would also tear up my moms magazines and newspaper. She's out of that habit now, but there are times when she gets bored enough to shred something, but her newest fave is chewing on pens. Brat!
I came out one morning to find her with blue ink all over her paws and chest...

Anyone else have "Paper killers" in their home? LOL

KINO...he does it all the time....the papertowels are on the counter, and Kino is tall enough to get them down...then he some how puts the papertowel holder back up! (its a stand up one)...he also loves newspapers....and TP...but he rarely can get to the TP...

Shredder and Runt join in once Kino has "scarffed the goods" off the counter.

Nope...my girls don't murder paper. They've chewed the face off a stuffed kitty cat, and a couple of other stuffed pals, and they've gotten a shoe or two also. Only when they're REALLY mad though....OH! May tore apart the plastic bag I had her ear cleanser and other cleansing supplies in too, LOL! I found them in her crate.

Bailey is a big paper towel killer. She loves all paper products. Her favorite is to pull tissues out of the box one by one and then have a shred fest. She really likes dryer sheets too. When she get a dryer sheet she zoomies around the house with it flapping out of her mouth like a flag. She once shredded a Costco size package of toilet paper in the middle of the night. We had to pick it all up with garbage bags because there was about 15 pounds of paper everywhere. What a mess! LOL

LOL! That's funny Icey. The little devils! You guys all tell your stories with such flare. I love it!

The Chi's when they were pups would drag the end of the toilet paper all down the hall. They wouldn't necessarily rip it, just drag it till it unrolled. LOL

Lyric was never into paper much. His thing was shoes and couch throws. He's done some damage there.

Bonnie, as a pup chewed the door jams in our brand new, beautiful home with beautiful wood wrap. She chewed every attachment to my DXH's shop vac. She got one of a pair of my very best Italian dress shoes. LOL. A-h-h-h...how cute.

The Boonster is also a paper lover. He knows that toilet paper is B-A-D, so he leaves that alone for the most part(crossing my fingers LOL) but anything else that's paper product and accessible is free game. He's got shredding down to an art. There's tiny tiny little wads of paper in my back seat from "Destructo Dog" going to town on a piece of paper. I'm bad about leaving reciepts laying around my car and Boone seems to always find them before I can. Brat. LOL

haha I just remember Kinos favorite paper to shred up....my brother in laws cell phone bill!! I honestly think he picks it out of all the mail we get.

LOL Barrett, Maybe we should check to see if Bailey and Mia aren't related.? They do the same things.. She loves tp and she loves dryer sheets. She runs thru the house like speedy gonzales..

LOL - "Destructo Dog" - too funny!

My little Cragar used to be a paper demon, too - never shredded paper towels or toilet paper though... but he used to steal mail off the coffee table, or stick his head in my purse and steal receipts. He even picked a dollar bill out of my purse once and shredded it. Luckily it wasn't a 20!!

So we started giving him paper that he was allowed to have, since he loved it so much. He gets all the empty paper towel, toilet paper, and wrapping paper rolls, junk mail, and sometimes, if he wants to play while I'm in the office, I'll give him some printer paper to rip around the house with. Curbed that "stealing" habit right quick!

Denali's favorite toy is soda boxes. LOL Anything that's a cardboard box, she has to have it to chew it up.

These are really funny! Sunny is not a paper chewer and never really has been. When she was teething she did chew our wood coffee table but only one end! LOL So when we moved we bought a glass top coffee tabel. sovled that problem! LOL
