Angry some people are just hateful

yesterday I got a phonecall from my vets nurse ( she is a real dog lover)
Someone had handed their 6 month old female mini foxie in to the council to be eauthanised

She told me she had till friday to find a new owner or it would happen

I went in this morning and met her ( we shall call her lily for the moment )
No I cant keep her but when I saw my vet today she said she cant euthanise her as she is just too beautiful
We think she is pregnant 6month old
I hate these people
Jo my vet says she will desex her for nothing if she gets a really good home. She says she has to desex her as for her to have pups to who knows what breed could kill her and especially being so young.

I have a friend I rang last night and she asked for a picture and she says she will have her if another home cant be found

Thank God I have nice friends
as for these people who get a pup ( hmmm Maybe a xmas pressie???)
and dont act responsible well I JUST HATE THEM

Linnie I agree - some people are just truly pathetic

Your vet sounds truly wonderful - thanks to them little Lilly won't have to have those puppies.

I hope she finds a wonderful forever home.

Grr some people are so irresponsible, it breaks my heart! The poor pup sounds like she's been through a bit in her short life.

That's so sad. I still don't understand how people can just discard a dog like that. Reminds me of a lady who brought a dog in to be euthanized that she had just adopted the day before because it didn't want to be held! Luckly Dr. Greise said, "Uh, ya right," and called up a rescue that came and got the dog.

I'm glad that she has a home set up for her, however. That's good news.

I'd take her if I was there!! You seem to be the first person that people call when there is a dog in need.

Calgal I do seem to be dont I
The trouble is I truly cant handle knowing about these poor little things and they know it lol.
I wish I could open a no kill shelter but I doubt I would part with any of the rescues and if I could the people would have to sign a contract in blood lol
