Favourite TV shows.

What is your favourite tv show? Do you have a favourite that is perhaps not as well known around the world (or even in its country of origin) as you'd like it to be?
Lets each make a list of 5 tv shows we refuse to miss and see what pops up. Maybe some of us will have something in common, maybe we'll find out that we're the only person on GP that likes a particular show.

Maybe we'll solve world hunger (ok, maybe not

), but either way it's something a little fun and interesting.

Oh and if you mention a show that you don't think is well known, give us a short description of it (no website links...we all know how to use google

).

Mine first. Hehehehe!

1. The Bill (long running british cop drama...more recently turned rather 'soapish')
2. Taggart

(probably the longest running cop show, it's going on 23yrs now, I believe, and is a Scottish drama) - This is probably my favourite british show.
3. Spicks and Specks (An Aussie music game show...no the title isn't racist, it's a BeeGees song

).
4. Dr. Who (if you don't know what this show is, you're living under a rock

).
5. Torchwood (A Dr. Who spin off that is aimed at adults rather than families....LOVE it).

Ok, your turn. Lets see what keeps your butt glued to the couch at night (or during the day).

Cass Dr. Who is great stuff

These are my current likes:
1. Family Guy (I will never miss this show...even the reruns. I have seen every episode since the beginning, and i have seen them at least 50 plus times each)
2. Heroes
3. Hell's Kitchen
4. Nip/Tuck
5. Forensic Files

Oh Heroes is a great show! I missed a few episodes in the beginning so it's a little confusing sometimes but I love it so far. We only just finished the first season here, I don't know what you're up to over there. But great show.

2. Home & Away (an Aussie soap show about the lives of people living in 'Summer Bay')

3. Will & Grace

4. The Simpsons

5. Property Ladder (a program about people buying realty investments and renovating houses. I can't get enough of this show!)

1. It's Me or the Dog - even though it's not on anymore is still my favourite!!

2. Desperate Housewives - I absolutely HAVE to watch this show every Monday night without fail

3. Forensic Investigators - this isn't on anymore either but shows stories about how real crimes were solved by the police. Used to always watch it even though it scared the you know what out of me at times!!

4. House

5. America's Next Top Model - tragic I know

but it's a great way to unwind on a Friday night!!

I only have two TV shows that I refuse to miss....

1. LOST - the new season won't start until fall, and I'm desperatally awaiting it until it comes! So far my favorite character hasn't died. Let's hope it stays that way!

2. Traveler - just a "summer only" season, but OMG I love this show. It came on right after LOST quit for the summer...I'm so glad it came on, as not only do I have a new addiction, it helped curb my LOST withdrawls. lol

I'm hoping hoping hoping it comes out on DVD when the season is over....it is something I could watch again and again and again.

Other shows that I like but don't care if I miss:

3. Smallville - I've been borrowing/renting the seasons on DVD....I'm on season four. *sigh* Too bad Lex was doomed to be evil from the start...

4. Supernatural - I've only seen a couple of episodes, but I love it. I'm going to need to start watching it from the beggining and work my way up because I think if I started watching it now I'd be lost.

5. Cold Case - I can't remember when it comes on or what channel, so I can only watch it by chance, but I love this show as well.

Truth be told, I only watch the first two religiously. The others I catch here and there and love.

Sometimes I find myself wondering how Jordan (from Crossing Jordan) is doing, I'm sucked in that bad. LOL

I don't really watch TV, but sometimes (about once every 3 weeks) I watch At the end of my leash, which I really love. I used to watch So You Think you can dance, but I didn't watch this season, only last season. Uhhh... That's about it.
