Talking Ahh, feels sooo good!

While out today with PJ, Tysa, Neyla, her mummy (CdnRottieMom), my nephew Connor and my brother, we passed a man on the way back from the lake, and stopped to chat (you know, to be pleasant and pass the time of day...LOL). The guy made a comment to us that is ALWAYS so great to hear, "You're dogs are so well trained and behaved!". I tell ya, there are few things in the world that match the feeling (to me anyway) of hearing strangers say that about my dogs! Talk about a boost, and a great personal reward and feeling of accomplishment, that all the work and training put into my dogs is noticed. I'm still beaming, and it's been over 8 hours! LOL

Anyway, what a great day! Well, besides Neyla finding the head and neck section of a goose and thinking it made a great toy! EWW! And I saw my first ever coyote (live anyway). And from what I hear, an unusual thing to see in broad daylight. So cool! I only wish I'd been able to get my camera out in time, obviously, it didn't stay in view for very long.

It was a good time and always nice to hear comments like that of our babies. Even that one lady commented on how obedient they were. It was nice to hear, since at home Neyla can act like a clown but out in public is the perfect little angle. At 9 months old, must be those teenage years (lol).

The coyote was cool, couldn't get the pic because he was quite aways back from us. It was unusual to see a coyote that time of the day, he must have been really starving looking for dinner.

After I left the trail and lake, I went home to get a quick bite to eat then Neyla and I went for a car ride to see where this beach was. Well, couldn't find it, maybe for the best as the area in Belle River seemed quite busy. I did though find this car / pet wash. It was neat, in the middle of the car wash was this building you can bring your dog in that has a nice & clean metal tub with a pull out ramp, and this dial that has settings for what you want (shampoo, condition, rinse, dry, and flea & tick). It also had a candy dispenser that had dog biscuits. It was cool. Since she had been playing with that goose neck & head (remains from the coyote's dinner), I decided she needed a bath. No way was she going to be walking all over the house after playing with that thing. She loved it, the water was warm and soothing and she was all clean. A man came to the door with his chocolate lab just as I was finishing drying off Neyla. I told him I was just finishing up. $5.00 for a shampoo, rinse and dry.

Don't you love getting compliments like that?
I still beam over the fact that a lady stopped her car while we were out walking Blackie, Rose, and Sadie just to tell us what good looking dogs they were, they were so well behaved, and wherever did we get them?
That made my day.
