Collars and weddings.

So... we're about 39 days out from the wedding (yahoo!).

I've been looking for pretty matching collar/leash sets for the girls to wear for the ceremony and reception. I'm not having any particular color scheme, and I told my one attendant to wear a pretty, non-skanky, solid colored dress.

Anyone have suggestions? It's for Hippo and Saboo, so it needs to come in small and medium. It needs to look good on orange dogs and black and white dogs. And... knowing Hippo, it probably shouldn't be white or light-colored.

I'm not very fond of sparkly, glittery things, so I'd like to avoid those (hideous!) collars with the slide-on letters.

well, I think green is the best color EVER!! but trixie has a purple collar so everyone knows she's a girl, and i HATE pink. would you maybe want the girls to match your attendant? if your not really having a scheme, that might not work though. how about plain black patton (sp?) leather? black is always spiffy. and if its shiny, it'd be femininish. plus you could find them just about anywhere

I'd go with a nice black leather studded (not spiked) collar and a black leather leash. Not only does it look good, but leather lasts a loooong time and is so much better than nylon (IMO). Or I would get a color that matches the dominant colour in your flower bouquet.
