What's with the Christmas lights?
There is a neighbour down the road from me who still has their Christmas lights up and turned on at night.
A little earlier tonight, the kids and I went to the grocery store and came across another neighbour's house a few blocks over who also had their Christmas lights on. Don't know why but I glanced as I was driving by in their back yard and they had these two huge Christmas decorations. One was a snowman and the other was a polar bear and the lights were turned on them. You couldn't miss it, I have some weird neighbours. Either that or they must really really really love the Christmas holiday. |

I agree, a lot of people in the surrounding neighborhood (None in mine) have their x mas lights turned on at night, and I think its because they are too lazy to take them down, and put them back up again when its Christmas again. But why turn them on? lol...thats what I always wonder.

Ok I can totally understand leaving the lights up, cause they are a pain to get up in the first place. But I have no clue why they'd get turned on either, or why they'd leave decorations all over the place.
So yes, you do have some strange neighbours! LOL |

Christmas in July?
One of my favorite radio stations W.N.I.C. 100.3 from Detroit was playing Christmas music last week. Did I miss an e-mail or news notice? Not that I want to put up lights again. Once a year is enough. |

A friend of mine was given 2 to 3 months to live. She knew she would not see Christmas and was so looking forward to it, especially with new grandkids and son-in-law. Her family decorated her home inside and out and had their last Christmas together.
