Wynne Friends of Animals Meeting.

Me and Ashley just got back from the WFOA meeting. It was great. We only have 33 members

and are trying to get to 100. Me and my granmother are gonig to become a foster home.

We got a few donations tonight. We need alot more to get this new shelter. If anyone is intrested PM me for the details. Anyway, Im very excited, Ashley (minpinsrock) was with me and she is about to become a member!

and I think she is going to become a foster mom too! We are going to get 2 dogs out of there amnd find them homes! We need idea's for fundraisers so if ANYONE has a SUGGESTION PLEASE* let me know! She said in December they put down 60 dogs and in Jan. 43.

That made us all so sad.

Bake Sales, Yard Sales.. one local group does a walkathon thing every spring where they get pledges then walk or jog with their dogs to raise money for a spay/neuter program. Make things and sell them..... I'm thinkin'.. lol

Pugdawg gave you some good ideas. Those things would attract me, especially a walk-a-thon. You could also try selling pet supplies. Decorate plastic bowls and nylon leashes, stuff like that. Or in the summer wash and walk dogs....basically anything will work.
