My dog loves ½ a dozen of the toys

Its important to give a toy to dog.Just like a babies need things to teethe on, children need toys to play with and adults need activities to keep themselves entertained, so a dog needs toy to keem themselves busy. Having a variety of dog toys is the first step toward eliminating chewing issues.Finding interesting dog chew toys to keep your dog entertained or happy while you are away can be a challenge. But, it is not impossible. There are actually some great dog chew toys and plush dog toys that are on the market today that can help any pooch that is lonely or spends any time away from you.If you have an older dog you can also find great plush dog toys that will help your pooch to relax when you are away for long periods of time.If you have a puppy a great option are the new plush dog toys that can be warmed to impersonate the feel of their siblings.

My two have never played with a toy and they don't like chewing on anything. I wish they did. I'm worried about their teeth because I haven't found anything they will chew on except a beef marrow bone, and only if I leave a little meat on them, and even then they only chew for a few minutes and they never touch the same bone again. Get's too expensive to have to give fresh bones a couple times a day. So, I brush their teeth every night before bed.

Yeah, Jesse never liked toys either. I think he played with one toy I bought him for about five seconds and then decided he since the toy didn't play back, it was too boring. LOL Not all dogs like toys. They're not that important. It's far more important to spend time interacting with your dog, in my opinion, and that doesn't always equal playing with toys.

Cass.

Abby ABSOLUTELY LOVES toys! I can say "where's your toy?" or "go get your toy!" and she'll run and get one. Harley, on the otherhand, isn't the silghtest bit interested in playing with toys.

My 3 Yorkies LOVE toys. When I leave in the morning, all the toys are put away...by noon when I get home, the house looks like a daycare with dog toys everywhere!

I might be a little guilty though... I think I have a direct link to PetEdge now! We have quite a collection of toys.

Perhaps I could be mistaken, but it appears that the original poster may have mistaken the "Toy" group for a discussion on dog toys, rather then the AKC Toy Dog group, and the dogs there in.
